Ground
Period 1: Administrative functions:
Review pilot information and history. Review the aircraft inspection status and documents for completeness. Discuss human factors, risk management, decision making and review the personal minimums process.
Period 2: Accident Review:
PA-46 Accidents/Incidents/Events from the previous 24-months are reviewed. Operational and Maintenance related causes are studied in depth.
Period 3: Lecture with Computer Support:
Weight and Balance: The aircraft data will be presented in a graphical computer program to demonstrate the possible loading scenarios within the aircraft's weight and balance limitations.
Flight (One session per pilot)
VFR/IFR Proficiency:
This training is customized to the pilot's interests with emphasis on accident causes. It may focus on airport operations or instrument proficiency. An IPC is available.
